How to Use: Naturally Glowing Self-Tan Mousse

Say hello to sun-kissed skin with our Self-Tan Mousse. Our mousse helps give you a bronzed glow, without exposing your skin to harmful UV rays. Scented with Tropical Starfruit and Logan to take you away to being by the beach and sipping on your favorite drink!

Get your glow in just 2 hours with our quick drying formula, which means that you won’t have that sticky feeling as your tan develops 🙌 Enriched with essential nutrients from coconut water, such as amino acids, sugars, vitamins and minerals to hydrate and nourish your skin.

So how do you use our self-tan mousse?!

To start off, it’s always best to make sure that you prep your skin. Up to 24 hours before, make sure that you exfoliate and moisturize your skin. You’ll also want to avoid shaving for up to 24 hours before, otherwise the tan may leave dots on the hair follicles.

Before you start tanning, you should also make sure that you have moisturized any dry areas of skin (hands, feet, elbows and knees), this will help to prevent the tan clinging to these areas.

Tan time!

You want to make sure that your skin is clean and dry, make sure that you have no deodorant, moisturizer (except for the dry areas mentioned above), or perfumes, as these will all interfere with how the tan works.

For best results we recommend using a tanning mitt to help the tan go on streak free, this also helps to prevent tanning your palms. Pump the mousse directly onto a tanning mitt and apply to the skin in sweeping motions. Make sure that you cover all areas, as you apply the product you will see it on your skin, which lets you see where you’ve applied it!

For your elbows, hands, knees, wrists and face use the mousse sparingly. These areas all need a bit more attention so use a smaller amount of the mousse.

If you haven’t used a mitt, don’t forget to wash your hands!

Tan developing

The amazing thing with this tan is that it will develop in 2 hours. Just make sure in those two hours that you avoid water on anywhere that you have tanned and avoid sweating as both with impact the tan.

After the 2 hours, you can wash off any excess tan in the shower and pat your skin dry. When rising off the tan mousse only use water, do not use any soap or shower gel. If you want your tan to be darker, just add more layers.

Maintain your glow

Your tan should last around 5 days. It’s important to make sure that you keep your skin moisturized (try and use a moisturizer every day), to keep your skin hydrated and maintain that glow.
